In this edition, the professionals who will receive the SPR Honorary Memberships will be Drs. James Borgstede, Sérgio Moguillansky and Guillermo Azulay. The radiologists appointed as President of Honor and Patron of the event will be Drs. Carlos Buchpiguel and Artur da Rocha Correa Fernandes, respectively. At 12 pm, Dr. Valerie P. Jackson will give a presentation by RSNA and then Dr. James Borgstede will address the theme Innovations in Education.

Imaging Interpreting Session (CCRP)May 4, 5:45 pm – 7:10 pm, Room P, Hall E One of JPR's most successful activities, this year it will count with Drs. Renato Hoffmann (SPR) and Jeffrey C. Weinreb (RSNA) as coordinators and a large intersection of themes and lecturers between the two societies. Teachers invited to discuss their propaedeutics for the audience are Drs. Guilhermo Azulay, who will address a musculoskeletal case selected by RSNA; Leonardo Kayat, who will discuss an abdominal case offered by RSNA; Cristopher Meyer, a professor at RSNA, will present a chest case indicated by SPR; Noriko Salomon, also from RSNA, received a topic of neuroradiology chosen by SPR.
Professionalism SessionMay 5, 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm, Rooms L and M, Hall G New activity at the lunchtime, SPR will promote a special session within the Professionalism program, with classes by international guests: • How do radiologists think? Professionalism SessionMay 5, 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm, Room P, Hall E A subject that is very much discussed today, Artificial Intelligence will also be the theme of a special session at JPR 2018. Drs. Marc Kohli and Luciano Prevedello will present The History of Artificial Intelligence: How Do We Get Here? and Current Applications in Radiology and Future Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence, respectively.
Lunch MeetingMajor companies in the industry will offer a scientific update with Radiology professors and professionals during lunch hours, from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. Activities are free, and participants receive a snack, so they do not worry about the meal at that time.
Book LaunchingJPR has as a tradition to present books of vital importance for the Radiology area to the public since one of the high goals of the event is to spread and deepen the knowledge in this sector. For more information, visit the book launch lounge, Hall D, near the SPR booth.
Commented PanelsThe best papers between Scientific Papers and Scientific Papers - Digital Presentation have been selected as Commented Panels and will be presented during lunch hours in the Panels Section, Hall F. On Saturday, May 5, a special session on Infectious Diseases will take place; check out the schedule and give prestige to your colleagues!
Interactive SessionsThey allow the audience to watch the lecturer's presentation, vote on diagnostic options to solve the case presented and see on the big screen, in a few seconds, what the correct answer is and the percentage of correctness and errors in the room. Voting - previously made only by equipment delivered at the door of the room - may also be done by the event app, using a tablet or smartphone. Check out the interactive lessons:
Cases of the Day ChallengeThe Cases of the Day challenge takes place in the JPR first and second days. Each day, seven cases are presented on screens of the Cases of the Day Section, which is next to the SPR Member room, hall F, so that attendees can place their diagnoses.
To participate, simply review the presented cases and inform your diagnostic option. The result will always be released the day after the presentation of the cases, along with the names of the radiologists who gave the right answer.
How to participate?1. Go to the Cases of the Day page in the JPR 2018 app or visit the Cases of the Day section next to the SPR Members room, hall F, to view the cases.
2. Through the app, give the diagnosis of each case published on the day.
3. In the following day, those who have succeeded will have their names on the screens of the Cases of the Day Section and the JPR 2018 app.
